Happy late Thanksgiving! I wanted to do a Thanksgiving outfit post but my family does a really relaxed, casual Thanksgiving with a lot of food and football so I usually wear jeans and a sweater. Instead I will show you this outfit which I wore a few days before Thanksgiving to school. It is still pretty warm where I live so I decided to play with some light layering. This Talula dress (it’s on sale now!) is one of my favorite pieces for fall which I actually wore to the Simply Stylist event in New York last month (check out my Instagram for more pics). I paired it with my favorite J.Crew leather boots. I layered it with an H&M jean jacket and a knit J.Crew infinity scarf (similar here). I recently received this Vera Bradley backpack as a very early Christmas present and I am absolutely in love with it. The front of the bag has quilted denim and the rest of the bag is covered in black leather and has leather straps and handles. I started using the bag for school and it surprisingly fits a few books along with some of my other items. Also the inside of the bag is lined with a really cool red and blue painted design (click here to see the bag on the Vera Bradley site). If you try to recreate this look, I think a wool hat would top off the outfit nicely. I would have worn one but I did not want to deal with hat hair in school. Comment on this post what you wore to Thanksgiving. Thanks for visiting and I hope you all had a great holiday!
