Hello everyone happy Wednesday! I was recently browsing Pinterest (something I seem to be doing way too often) when I came across a stunning and simple maxi dress that immediately caught my eye. I clicked on the image which brought me to the website where the dress was sold. It was a brand’s website that I had never heard before: Love Shack Fancy. Despite the funky name, the clothing from this company is beautiful. Most of the pieces have low cut necklines and are synched at the waist to create a flattering and feminine silhouette. Some pieces have braided, floral, or lace details and range in fabrics from silk to cotton. The brand also makes dresses for brides and bridesmaids.
The brand was created and designed by Rebecca Hessel Cohen who was the Senior Fashion and Beauty Editor and Cosmopolitan Magazine. She used her experiences working with designers and traveling for photo shots to inspire her collections. Because these pieces are so well made, they are not cheap. Prices rang from $82 for a camisole to upwards of $900 for some of her more intricate dresses. Oh, and all of the dresses I seem to like are around that $900 mark. The brand will be sold in Bergdorf Goodman, Free People, Revolve and many other similar boutiques. Here are a few of my favorite pieces:
