Online Shopping Guide

I, like most teenagers today, spend hours a day on my computer. When I am on my computer I am either doing one of a few things: school work, working on a post, watching Youtube videos, reading fashion blogs or online magazines or browsing online stores. I love to browse online stores and check out new look books for outfit inspiration or even inspiration for posts. Online is the best place to find deals on clothing. Between finding factory store websites, looking up coupons or taking advantage or special online deals, it is so simple to have a successful shopping spree from the comfort of your couch. However, the world wide web is obviously huge and the amount of online shopping sites can be difficult to navigate. To help you find the best online shopping and the best deals I will be posting an online shopping guide every few weeks. This week, I wanted to share with you some online shops with great look books or connected blogs to help give you some fashion inspiration. – DailyLook is a fast fashion brand that has very trendy clothing at fair prices. On their website, there is a link to the DL mag which tells you about new trends and gives you styling tips. Also, if you sign up for their email, you will get about four looks per email that their stylists put together and if you like a look you can choose to buy the whole outfit or just select the pieces that you like. – Free People is a very popular and well known brand with their stores in many malls and their clothing in the majority of department stores. On the Free People website, there is a link to trends and features which showcases the free people clothing in look books, catalogs and trends. With Cara Delevingne as the face of the brand, Topshop is continuing to be young and trendy clothing store (I so wish I had a Topshop store near me). Topshop’s magazine is like an online fashion news outlet. I really like how they do not only stories on Topshop clothing, but other brands and important people in the fashion industry. Nasty Gal was founded by Sophia Amoruso, who began to style the clothing that she first sold on Ebay. This had many of her customers not only looking to buy clothes from her, but also, looking to see how they could style a piece or put together an outfit. Now, every online clothing store today does the exact same thing Sophia began doing years ago. The Nasty Gal blog has everything from look books to horoscopes to inspirational people in the fashion industry and even includes some people from the music industry as well.
