All winter long, most of us are confined to our boots which we wear with everything from skinny jeans to dresses. Especially with the harsh snowy winter that we have had, I have wore my timberlands for days at a time. I have had enough! Although boots can be cute and warm, they all tend to look the same, especially when everyone in your school has the exact same pair of Tory Burch riding boots. Yes, I did try walking down my driveway to get to the car in ballet flats, and yes I did end up with my face in a pile of snow after slipping on the black ice. Learn from my mistake and please do not attempt that. I am trying to break free from the common winter boot-mania, and it is not easy to find shoes that are cute and warm enough for the winter (and that are not boots).
